Alliance Group has appointed Aneesha Varghese-Cowan as Chief Financial Officer following a global executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Alliance Group is a leading food and solutions company owned by skilled and passionate Kiwi farmers, producing the finest quality free-range grass-fed natural lamb, beef and venison. Alliance procures, processes and markets quality red meat products to more than 65 countries across the globe, and as the world's largest sheep meat exporter, has turnover of circa $2 billion. 

Aneesha brings strong financial credentials and relevant experience across the red meat sector from previous senior roles with JBS Australia and Silver Fern Farms. Prior to Alliance, Aneesha ran her own management consultancy business based in Melbourne, Global CFO Solutions, providing CFO services for growth businesses needing systems and processes, or organisations needing to turnaround or transition. Earlier, Aneesha was Chief Financial Officer of Felton Grimwade Bosisto’s / FGB, an Australian vertically integrated natural pharmaceuticals company specialising in eucalyptus oil.

Aneesha holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Masters in Taxation Studies, and Doctorate in Business Administration. She started with Alliance in early April and is relocating with her family from Melbourne to Christchurch.
