Shane Watkin has been appointed General Manager – Branch Networks for the Asmuss Group following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners. 

The Asmuss Group is a supplier to some of New Zealand’s biggest industrial, construction and water projects. In this newly created role Shane will report to Group Chief Executive Officer, Dean Brown, and be a member of the Executive Leadership Team. It is an exciting time of change at Asmuss as the group implements a new go to market and customer strategy. Shane will focus on leading Asmuss’ national branch network and key accounts. 

Shane Watkin is an accomplished and proven branch leader having had a successful career with Carters and PlaceMakers. In his most recent role with PlaceMakers, Shane led the Auckland Region and was responsible for 13 sites and a broader team of 600 with sales in excess of $430m. 

Shane commences his new role at Asmuss Group in late August 2019.
