Babbage Consultants has appointed Craig Punt as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Babbage Consultants is a long standing and well respected multi-disciplinary practice offering tailored consultancy across Architecture, Engineering, Land Development and Project Management. The firm is 100% New Zealand owned, and has clients throughout Australasia, South America and Europe, serviced by over 180 employees across New Zealand and Australia. 

Craig is an experienced finance leader with a background spanning the travel, retail, and building products sectors. Prior to joining Babbage he was a Commercial Manager for Humes, a leading manufacturer of concrete pipes and precast concrete products within Fletcher Building. Earlier, he spent seven years with Icebreaker, a $250m wholesaler and retailer of apparel, in a range of senior roles including Director Financial Planning & Analysis for the APAC region, and Head of Finance and e-Commerce A/NZ. His early career saw him spend 10 years with Bunnings where he took on increasingly senior financial mandates culminating to two years as Planning & Finance Manager NZ.  

Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and is CPA qualified. He joined Babbage in early October.
