Ballance Agri-Nutrients has appointed Shane Dufaur as General Manager Operations & Supply Chain, following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Shane is currently Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Salt based in Mt Maunganui. He has led Dominion since 2012 and prior to this was self-employed as Managing Director of FTL Limited, a Tauranga based services business. Earlier career experiences included a period with Navman as Vice President – Personal and In Car Navigation and 13 years with global market leading engineering services business, Schlumberger. At Schlumberger he worked across a range of functions and roles in Australasia, United States and the Middle East.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland and has also completed post graduate courses at both London Business School and Columbia Business School. He is a Director of and investor in Blackhawk Tracking a SaaS business in the global asset management space. Additionally, he is a Board member of the Business Leaders Health and Safety Forum.
