BDO Auckland are delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Jones as Chief Executive Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

BDO is the fifth largest accountancy and advisory network in the world. BDO Auckland has around 280 staff across three locations, providing audit & assurance, and tax services to business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate clients in the private and public sector throughout the region. As Chief Executive Officer, Tim will work with the Executive Committee leading strategy and shared services, along with working with the firms Partner network.
 
Until recently, Tim was Chief Executive Officer at Babbage, a multi-disciplinary practice offering tailored consultancy across architecture, engineering, land development and project management. Tim earlier spent eight years with Chapman Tripp as Chief Operating Officer, and was previously a Partner with Collinson & Co. He has also spent time as a Chief Financial Officer with Practiv Applied Software following an early career with Arthur Andersen and KPMG.

Tim has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and is a Chartered Accountant.

He started with BDO Auckland this month.
