BNZ has appointed Godfrey Boyce as an Independent Director following a Director search undertaken by SEQEL Partners.

Godfrey has had a long and successful career within KPMG, having served as a Partner since 1996. He has over 20 years’ experience as a leading Audit and Advisory Partner servicing clients in New Zealand and Australia. Godfrey’s career at KPMG included being a member of the New Zealand Board, serving as the Wellington Office Managing Partner, National Managing Partner of the Advisory division, and ultimately Chief Executive Officer for the New Zealand firm.

Godfrey is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. His appointment on the BNZ board is effective as of 1 August 2024.
