SEQEL has facilitated the appointment of Dr Patrick Strange to the Chorus Board.

 Patrick is currently a director of Mighty River Power, WorkSafe New Zealand and of the joint board of Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy, Australia. Patrick has spent 30 years working primarily in the New Zealand and international electricity and energy sectors, as a senior executive and director in both private and listed companies. He was until recently Chief Executive of New Zealand’s transmission owner and operator, Transpower New Zealand Limited, a position which he held for more than six years.
