Datacom are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Hoole as General Manager Group Finance following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Datacom is New Zealand’s largest technology company, with 50+ years in the industry and 6,500 employees across Australasia and a range of other global locations.  

Simon is a highly experienced senior finance leader who is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Villa Maria Wines. The majority of his earlier career was spent with AMP. Key roles during his tenure include Chief Financial Officer of the AMP Life business, Chief Financial Officer of the AMP Financial Services NZ, and Group Finance Director based in Sydney. Simon also spent almost 15 years with Deloitte in increasingly senior consultancy roles across England, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Accounting from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. He commences with Datacom in November.
