Evolution Healthcare has appointed Ray Liu as Chief Digital Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Evolution Healthcare is a leading private healthcare provider with a diverse portfolio including six hospitals, four day-surgery facilities, one maternity hospital, and five rehabilitation-focused businesses. The company is under the ownership of long-term infrastructure investors QIC, Australian Retirement Trust, and Te Pūia Tāpapa and employs circa 1,300 staff.

Ray brings a broad range of IT skills gained through in-house and consulting environments, including the NZ health sector. Currently he is General Manager of Information Technology at Green Cross Health, an NZX listed primary care provider comprised of a large network of medical centres and pharmacies. Previously, Ray led the replacement of a legacy core billing platform for Watercare and prior spent eight years with a leading IT consultancy, Davanti Consulting in a number of client focused and people leadership mandates. His early career was spent in Talgentra (Gentrack) and Suncorp in technical and IT project management roles. 

Ray holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems. He commences with Evolution Healthcare on Monday 4^th August.
