Fiordland Lobster appoints Jason Judkins as Chief Executive Officer

Fiordland Lobster has appointed Jason Judkins as Chief Executive Officer after an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Established in 1989 by fishers in Fiordland National Park, Fiordland Lobster is dedicated to the sustainable fishing and live export of wild-caught southern rock lobsters. The company has grown to become the largest supplier of the most prized lobster in the world and is a progressive and innovative international business, with operations around New Zealand and Australia and into China.
Jason spent his early career as a corporate turnaround and insolvency specialist working in New Zealand and North Asia. Over the last 10 years he has held Chief Executive roles within the wine, honey, and hops industries. He is also the CEO of Big Buddy Mentoring Trust and Foundation and has been a Non Executive Director of Babich Wine Company since 2017.
Jason holds a Master of Management Studies (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Accountancy and Finance (1st Class Honours), both from the University of Waikato. He is also active in the Young Presidents Organisation and has been a member of the New Zealand chapter since 2013. He starts his new role with Fiordland Lobster in September.
