FMI Building Innovation is pleased to announce the appointment of Hanre Becker as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners. 

FMI Building Innovation is a privately owned manufacturer, supplier and distributor of building materials and is currently undergoing an exciting shift in strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Jérôme Deperrois, Hanre will lead the finance team and contribute to the strategic, financial and operational success of the enterprise. He was previously Director and Head of Finance & IT at API Consumer Brands, and Commercial Manager and Business Improvement lead at Metro Performance Glass. 

Prior to relocating to New Zealand from South Africa, Hanre had an extensive career in glass, manufacturing and B2B distribution businesses as Finance Director for PFG Building Glass and Chief Financial Officer for Daltron. Hanre has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) majoring in Accounting from the University of Free State in South Africa, and is a member of the Chartered Accountant Association of New Zealand (CAANZ).

He commenced his new role at FMI Building Innovation on Monday 26th August.
