Fonterra Appoints Scott Pyles as Chief Technology Officer

Fonterra Co-operative are delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Pyles as Chief Technology Officer following a global executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Fonterra Co-operative is a global dairy nutrition company and a world-leading dairy exporter which plays a crucial role in New Zealand’s agricultural economy. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, Toby Granwal, Scott will have responsibility for transforming, leading and maintaining Fonterra’s end-to-end global IT operations, with a strong focus on modernising their approach to architecture.

Scott is an international technology leader with experience managing teams across the USA, Europe, and Australasia. He was most recently the CTO for Fletcher Building creating and executing the Group Technology strategy to stabilise, consolidate and modernise their infrastructure and applications. Scott previously spent a year as the GM Technology Operations for Fletcher Building and was the Director of Global IT Infrastructure for the Formica Corporation. Originally from the USA, Scott spent several years with Schneider Electric, IBM, and Formica Corporation before relocating to Auckland in 2014.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thomas More University.
