Fonterra Appoints Troy Donovan as Manager Capital Projects

Fonterra is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Donovan as the Manager for Capital Projects based in Waikato, following an international executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Reporting to Juergen Link, General Manager Assets and Capital Projects, Troy will be responsible for leading major capital projects across Fonterra’s asset base, including new project builds. With an annual spend in the range of $300 - $500m per year, this is a significant project management and leadership position.
Troy brings a wealth of engineering and project delivery experience to Fonterra. Through a truly international career that has spanned Asia and Europe, Troy has accumulated experience and skill sets highly relevant to Fonterra’s capital works programme. Troy has worked with global organisations including Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Fluor Daniel, Abbott Pharmaceutics and PM Group. In 2013, Troy and his family returned to New Zealand, following his appointment as a Senior Project Manager at Babbage Consultants, later being promoted to the role of Associate.
Troy has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical and Process) with Honours from the University of Canterbury, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dairy Science & Technology from Massey University.
Troy will commence his role with Fonterra in November 2017.
