Fortysouth appoints Nick Clarke as Chief Executive Officer

Fortysouth has appointed Nick Clarke as Chief Executive Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Fortysouth is New Zealand’s leading independent digital infrastructure partner and is owned by offshore infrastructure investors InfraRed Capital Partners and Northleaf Capital Partners, and Infratil of New Zealand. The business recently acquired Vodafone’s tower assets, providing the company with the largest national tower portfolio in New Zealand - covering over 98% of New Zealand’s population.
Nick has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications and utilities sectors. From an executive standpoint, Nick most recently spent six years as General Manager – Geothermal & Safety at Mercury, reporting to Fraser Whineray. Prior to this he had six years at Telecom/Spark, including running the company’s Wholesale and International business units. Nick started his career as a lawyer before spending six years at Woosh Wireless in a range of roles including Commercial Manager and General Manager Marketing
Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), both from the University of Auckland, and commences his new role in February 2023.
