Freightways Appoints Stephan Deschamps as Chief Financial Officer.

Stephan Deschamps has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for NZX-listed Freightways Group following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Stephan will be succeeding Mark Royle who has made a substantial contribution to Freightways over a successful 20 year career with the Company. Stephan will be based in Auckland alongside the Freightways Senior Leadership team, commencing mid-year as Mark Royle steps back from a full-time role.
Stephan brings significant financial and commercial experience to the role having held senior finance positions with Fonterra (Director Financial Performance and Planning, CFO Greater China, CFO South America and Group Treasurer), and more recently at Air New Zealand as Interim CFO and General Manager Corporate Finance. He has completed multiple tertiary qualifications including a Masters in Finance from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
