House of Travel has appointed Anna Hay as Chief People Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

House of Travel is New Zealand’s largest locally owned travel company and the largest privately owned retail travel company in Australasia. The Group includes House of Travel, Orbit World Travel, Global Travel Network, TravelManagers Australia, Travel Advocates, Mix & Match, Hoot and Wanderlust Travel Experts.

Anna is a seasoned people and culture executive who has a wealth of experience in strategic and operational HR leadership across Australia and New Zealand. Most recently, Anna was Chief People Officer at Entrada Travel Group – a privately owned trans-Tasman travel company encompassing tour companies, snorkel and scuba operators, and transport. Earlier, Anna was based in Sydney as Executive Manager, People & Culture at Warrah Society – a disability services organisation providing services and social enterprises for adults and children. Anna has also previously successfully owned and operated her own business, Jones the Grocer, for eight years.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Canterbury and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Massey University. She commenced her role at House of Travel in early December.
