Ideal Electrical Suppliers New Zealand (NZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Johnson as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Ideal Electrical Suppliers NZ is part of French based Rexel Group, who specialise in the global distribution of electrical products. Ideal Electrical Suppliers NZ is a significant business, with a national network of 48 branches, over 380 staff (including project managers, estimators, technical advisors, lighting specialists and trade qualified personnel). The business supplies in excess of 100,000 products to the New Zealand market, with a particular focus on electrical contractors across the full range of residential, commercial and industrial construction sectors.

Reporting to the Managing Director for NZ, Roger Edgar, as Chief Financial Officer Craig will lead the finance and IT functions.  Craig brings broad experience and a proven track record to the Chief Financial Officer position through a career that has spanned manufacturing and distribution, media, telecommunications and banking. Craig has spent the last 7 years as the Chief Financial Officer for Viridian Glass NZ. 

Craig has a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Accountancy from Massey University. He is also a Chartered Accountant and is a member of CAANZ.

Craig commences with Ideal/Rexel NZ in July 2020.
