LIC has appointed Dhaya Sivakumar as Chief Information Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

LIC is an NZX listed agricultural co-operative and world leader in pasture based dairy genetics and herd management. LIC exists to deliver superior genetics and technological innovation to help its shareholders sustainably farm a profitable animal. With origins dating back to 1909, LIC has a long history of developing and delivering world-leading innovations for the dairy industry.

Dhaya is currently Chief Operating Officer of AMP Financial Services NZ, a large financial services business. In addition to leading the IT function Dhaya holds accountability for the customer service and commercial services teams totalling over 100 employees. Previously, Dhaya was Executive Vice President at Orion Health Group where he led a team of 200 to reshape platform products for the global health IT provider. Earlier roles of note include Chief Information Officer of payment solutions business Paymark, and Chief Information Officer of 2degrees.

Dhaya holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in International Business & Tourism Management from Massey University. He commences with LIC in mid December.
