LIC has appointed Kellie Burbidge as General Manager New Zealand Markets following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

LIC is an NZX listed agricultural co-operative and world leader in pasture based dairy genetics and herd management. LIC exists to deliver superior genetics and technological innovation to help its shareholders sustainably farm a profitable animal. With origins dating back to 1909, LIC has a long history of developing and delivering world-leading innovations for the dairy industry.

Kellie brings a wealth of sales and general management experience with extensive touchpoints into the Agri sector. Most recently, Kellie was General Manager for Eat My Lunch, a social enterprise providing free school lunches to Kiwi children, where she secured crucial government funding. Previously, she spent eight years with ANZ in a variety of customer focused leadership roles including General Manager Northern where she led a team of circa 250 Agri and Commercial relationship managers and held ownership of a $6b balance sheet. Kellie’s earlier career includes time within the financial services businesses UDC Finance and EFTPOS, and two years in sales roles with NZ Dairy Foods.

Kellie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Management and a Bachelor of Physical Education in Exercise Prescription & Management both from the University of Otago. She joins LIC on 30^th October.
