McGrathNicol NZ has appointed Andrew Keenan as a Partner following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Founded in 2004, McGrathNicol is an independent Trans-Tasman specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, committed to helping businesses improve performance, manage risk and achieve stability and growth. McGrathNicol NZ is locally owned and operated, and works in concerned with McGrathNicol Australia, the owner of the McGrathNicol brand.

Andrew is a professional services leader with 15 years’ experience working at PwC, both in the UK and New Zealand. Most recently, Andrew was Director Sustainability & Corporate Finance at PwC Auckland where he was responsible for supporting valuations, due diligence, financial modelling, M&A, capital raises engagements and pursuing revenue growth and diversification by developing and leading a new Sustainability practice. Previously, Andrew was based in the UK as Deals Lead Advisory within the Business Restructuring Services team where he worked on restructuring and accelerated M&A projects for stressed businesses. His early career was spent in the PwC financial Audit team in Manchester, before moving on to valuations work.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics (1^st Class Hons) from the University of Manchester and held Chartered Accountancy status through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He commenced with McGrathNicol in mid October.
