McKechnie Aluminium Solutions have appointed Tony van Maanen as General Manager OMEGA, following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

McKechnie Aluminium Solutions manufacture high quality aluminium components and products for a range of sectors. OMEGA, a division of McKechnie, designs window and door systems for modern living and demanding weather conditions.

Tony van Maanen is an experienced General Manager in the building products sector who comes from a significant foundation in sales. He is currently General Manager at Asona, a manufacturer, installer and distributor of innovative wall and ceiling products. Prior to this, Tony was General Manager with Prysmian New Zealand (a cable manufacturer), and Business Unit Manager / GM for Proline & Pryda (a manufacturer of timber connectors and structural brackets). Tony’s early career included sales roles with USG Interiors and Ideal Electrical.

Tony has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Auckland. He joins McKechnie / OMEGA in early August.
