Metlifecare, the publicly-listed retirement lifestyle company, has appointed Richard Thomson as their new Chief Financial Officer.

Richard Thomson joins Metlifecare after 13 years in key financial leadership roles with Air New Zealand.  Richard brings outstanding technical corporate finance skills and experience, initially honed through a lengthy tenure at PwC, as well as investment banking experience gained from his time with JPMorgan.  Most recently at Air New Zealand, Richard has been in executive leadership roles in both the corporate finance and commercial areas of the business where he has demonstrated strong financial, strategic, and commercial expertise that will be immediately applicable and relevant to Metlifecare as the company focuses on its growth, innovation, and commercial performance agenda.  

Richard lives in Auckland with his wife and 2 children.
