NZX listed retirement village and aged care provider Metlifecare has appointed Sandra King as General Manager Sales, following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Glen Sowry, Sandra joins the Metlifecare Executive Leadership Team and will be accountable for Metlifecare’s sales strategy and driving its successful implementation.

Sandra has spent the last two years with Prime Strategies Group as a business improvement advisor providing strategic and management consulting in the SME market. Prior to this, Sandra was Group Director Commercial leading sales revenue strategy development across NZME. Earlier in her career, she spent 10 years as multi-platform revenue strategist and marketer for New Zealand’s largest media company, Fairfax Media.

Sandra is an accomplished and proven commercial sales leader, who has held various Senior Management and Executive positions specialising in commercial growth and business transformation projects. Through an extensive career in media with both NZME and Fairfax, she has gained experience highly relevant to Metlifecare.

Sandra commences her new role at Metlifecare in June 2019.
