Pacific Edge has appointed Simon Flood as Director and Chairman Designate following a Board Director search conducted by SEQEL Partners. 

Pacific Edge is an NZX/ASX listed global cancer diagnostics company leading the way in the development and commercialisation of bladder cancer tests.

Simon brings a wealth of experience in business leadership and a global perspective on capital markets and investment management. He has held senior investment management and leadership roles in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore with Mercury Asset Management, Axa Investment Management, Lion Global Investors, and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Simon has also worked as an Executive Director at UK-based, technology-focused venture capital firm Imprimatur Capital.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2015, Simon has been appointed to several governance positions across a variety of sectors. He is currently Chairman of Queenstown Airport, a recent appointee to the Tertiary Education Commission, and several South Island organisations.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.
