Pāmu appoints Will Burrett as Chief Operating Officer

Pāmu has appointed Will Burrett as Chief Operating Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Pāmu is New Zealand’s largest farming business with a nationwide portfolio of 114 farms that produce milk, beef, lamb, wool, venison, wood and carbon credits. A State Owned Enterprise and key player in the New Zealand agriculture sector, Pāmu is committed to driving excellence and innovation in all aspects of its pastoral farming, forestry and horticultural businesses.
Currently Will is General Manager Farming & Forestry at Ngāi Tahu Farming, a business managing more than 100,000 ha of farm and forestry land on behalf of Ngāi Tahu whanau. Previously, Will was Country Head Australia & NZ for Map of Agriculture, an independent agricultural technology and market research company that enables farmers to integrate data to their trusted advisors. He brings a strong background in the primary industry, with earlier roles including General Manger of Coronet Farms, Operations Performance Manager at Rangitata Dairies, Commercial Projects Manager at Fonterra, and Rural Manager for ASB Bank.
Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) in Agribusiness from Lincoln University. He commences with Pāmu on Monday 26 June.
