Quayside Holdings appoints Lyndon Settle as Chief Executive
Friday 01 July 2022
Quayside Holdings has appointed Lyndon Settle as Chief Executive after an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Quayside is the investment arm of Bay of Plenty Regional Council. With a circa $2.5b balance sheet, Quayside is the majority shareholder in the Port of Tauranga and is also an issuer of debt securities on the New Zealand Exchange. The organisation invests in a range of asset classes and has interests in property, shares and private equities to provide sustainable long-term intergenerational returns.
Lyndon has a broad skill-set that strongly aligns to Quayside’s strategy. He joins Quayside from Tainui Group Holdings where he is currently General Manager – Finance and Investments. Prior to joining Tainui Group Holdings, Lyndon held senior executive roles in finance, agribusiness and infrastructure, most notably eight years with the Bank of New Zealand as Managing Partner.
Lyndon will commence in his role in October 2022, followed by a transition period with outgoing CEO, Scott Hamilton, who announced his resignation earlier this year.
