Rockit Global has appointed Ivan Angland as Chief Operating Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Rockit Global is an innovative and vertically integrated fruit grower, packer, exporter and marketer of unique miniature apples under the Rockit™ apple brand. Rockit has its own orchards, packhouse and coolstore facilities, along with the global headquarters in Hawkes Bay. Additionally, Rockit operates international licensees who grow, pack, and ship Rockit from nine countries around the world. Rockit is sold and marketed in over 30 countries worldwide with further significant growth forecasted.

As Rockit continues its strategic growth into 2025 and beyond, Ivan joins in the newly established role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be a member of the Global Senior Leadership Team. Ivan will oversee the global growing and packing, quality, operations, information technology and supply chain functions of Rockit.

Ivan is an experienced agronomist with a comprehensive background in horticulture. He brings over 26 years’ industry experience in both growing and post-harvest from earlier roles with Turners & Growers and Heinz Wattie’s. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Massey University.
