Wednesday 04 June 2025

Starship Foundation has appointed Skye Daniels as a Trustee following a director search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

The announcement from Martin Wiseman, Starship Foundation’s Chair follows.

“I am delighted to welcome Skye Daniels onto our Board and as chair designate of the Audit, Risk and Investment Committee at the Starship Foundation. Skye is a Chartered Accountant and member of the NZ Institute of Directors with over 20 years’ experience in finance roles across a broad range of industries and iconic New Zealand businesses.

Skye is currently the CFO of Southern Cross Health Medical Care Society and has a keen interest in the health sector and an ambition for all New Zealanders to have timely access to affordable healthcare. Skye is also a long-time supporter of the I Have a Dream Foundation and more recently a mentor with the Springboard Trust.

I’m very much looking forward to working alongside her in my role as Chair. As regulatory oversight and public expectations increase across the charitable sector, and with the Foundation’s strategic focus on scaling revenue and grant impact for Starship, Skye’s financial leadership brings the rigour and expertise essential to sustaining growth and delivering measurable outcomes.”
