The Griffin’s Food Company Appoints Deanne Schoeman as Head of Human Resources

The Griffin’s Food Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Deanne Schoeman as Human Resources Director, following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
The Griffin’s Food Company is a well known and much loved kiwi brand, and is New Zealand’s number 1 snack foods company. It manufactures biscuits and snacks in New Zealand, where it is the market leader in its core categories. Its brands include Griffin’s, Nice & Natural, Huntley & Palmers, Eta and Kettle Chip Company.
As Human Resources Director, Deanne will lead the people and culture function for the business, which includes two manufacturing sites based in New Zealand. Deanne will report to Managing Director, Brett Henshaw, and be a member of the executive team.
Deanne brings impressive HR credentials to her appointment. For the last ten years Deanne has worked for PepsiCo International. After completing early roles as a Senior HR Advisor in the New Zealand based Bluebird Foods business, Deanne spent time as the interim HR Director for both the broader Australia and New Zealand businesses. Earlier roles in her career include time in South Africa where she worked for Elco Plastics as HR Director, before emigrating to New Zealand in 2007 where she joined Fasnexus as HR Manager.
Deanne has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Psychology from the University of South Africa.
Deanne will be joining the Griffin’s Food Company in March 2018.
