The Listed Investment Companies (NZX listed funds Kingfish Ltd, Barramundi Ltd, and Marlin Global Ltd) has appointed Simon Flood as an Independent Director following a Director search led by SEQEL Partners. 

Simon brings a wealth of experience in business leadership and a global perspective on capital markets and investment management.

He has held senior investment management and leadership roles in London, Hong Kong and Singapore with Mercury Asset Management, Axa Investment Management, Lion Global Investors and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Simon has also worked as an Executive Director at UK-based, technology-focused venture capital firm Imprimatur Capital.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2015, Simon has been appointed to several governance positions across a variety of sectors. He is currently Chairman of Queenstown Airport, Chairman of Pacific Edge, a recent appointee to the Tertiary Education Commission, and holds Directorships in several smaller South Island organisations.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.
