The Piritahi Alliance appoints Graham Darlow as Independent Chair

The Piritahi Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Darlow as Independent Chair following a director search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Piritahi is an infrastructure and land development alliance made up of Kāinga Ora as Owner Participant and Non-Owner Participants Dempsey Wood, Hick Brothers, Tonkin & Taylor, Harrison Grierson and Woods Civil. The Alliance was established to deliver infrastructure renewals and upgrades, new infrastructure, land development works, and higher quality / affordable homes in the Auckland region.

Graham had a successful career as a Project Engineer in both New Zealand and Australia, before moving into executive leadership roles. He spent 29 years with Fletcher Building, including +6 years as the Chief Executive Officer for the Construction Division. He is a distinguished fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers and widely regarded for his achievements in the sector. Since stepping down from Fletcher Construction in 2017, Graham has successfully transitioned his career into Governance (both Director and Chair positions) and Advisory roles. Graham brings extensive and relevant experience across tunnelling, horizontal and vertical construction, roading, energy civils, wastewater, marine, earthquake recovery, alliancing, and public private partnerships.

Graham will commence as Independent Chair in January 2022.
