Tonkin + Taylor has appointed Aaron Snodgrass as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners.

Tonkin + Taylor Group is an employee-owned firm powered by 1,300+ professionals which provides environmental and engineering services through five operating companies across New Zealand and Australia: Tonkin + Taylor New Zealand, Tonkin + Taylor Australia, Chadwick Geotechnics, Geotechnics, and Bligh Tanner. The business operates across multiple sectors and deliver services across geotechnical, environmental, infrastructure, planning, digital, and advisory.

Aaron brings deep experience across New Zealand and international markets, with expertise in infrastructure, energy, professional services, and capital markets. He joins Tonkin + Taylor from Eastland Group, a trust owned group of companies including Eastland Port, Gisborne Airport, Eastland Generation, Eastland Network and other property assets, where he spent 11 years as Chief Financial Officer.

Aaron’s earlier career was spent with Deutsche Bank in the United States, having joined the business within their Structured Capital Markets team on Wall Street. He progressed to a divisional CFO role and then became a structuring specialist. Prior, Aaron spent 11 years with PwC where he was part of the cross-border transaction teams and Global Capital Markets Group.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Accountant.
