Monday 04 December 2017
Westland Milk has appointed Australian Jeffrey Goodwin as General Manager Sales, following an extensive international search conducted by SEQEL Partners.
Westland Milk is New Zealand’s second largest dairy cooperative with revenues of circa $800m. The organisation is head-officed in Hokitika and the cooperative collects and processes milk from circa 500 farmers on both the West and East coasts of the South Island.
In his role as General Manager Sales, Jeffrey will be accountable for all commercial activities within the organisation, reporting to Chief Executive, Toni Brendish. Prior to joining Westland, Jeffrey was based in Seattle, working for James Farrell & Co, one of the largest private dairy companies in the United States. He previously spent six years in Singapore working for leading Irish dairy company, Glanbia as a Regional Director, and earlier for Olam International, owned by Wilmar, as General Manager Dairy. His early career was spent in Australia and China, working largely within the fruit, produce and dairy export sectors.
Jeffrey will relocate from Seattle to Christchurch to take on his new role with Westland.
