Zespri has appointed Vicki McColl as Chief Financial Officer following an executive search conducted by SEQEL Partners. 

Zespri is the world’s leading kiwifruit brand, employing over 900 staff and earning revenues of circa $4 billion. The business is a co-operative owned by more than 4,200 growers in New Zealand and internationally and is the country’s largest horticulture exporter.

Vicki brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Zespri, having held senior leadership roles in finance across various industries and countries. Her career spans over 20 years, including her current role as CFO at Silver Fern Farms, where she has been leading the finance, accounting, procurement, commercial, sales and operations planning, corporate services, legal, company secretarial, treasury, and customer service functions. Vicki has been a big part of Silver Fern Farms’ story in transforming from a commodity-based to a market-led, customer-focused model.

Vicki also brings great global experience, navigating diverse markets in Asia, Africa, North and South America, and Eastern Europe. She has held significant positions at Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, Rio Tinto Limited, and Rio Tinto Minera, Peru, where she has navigated complex financial landscapes, led successful business transformations, and fostered strong stakeholder relationships.

Vicki holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Otago and is a Chartered Accountant with CAANZ. She joins Zespri in August.
